Rockwell Garden

This year the 4th grade has helped maintain the school garden. And each grade was able to plant and transplant into the garden this spring.

All summer long our volunteers have worked to keep the garden beautiful and thriving so we can get a fall harvest and allow classes to spend time in the garden relating real life gardening and classroom work.

It's a great place where teachers can get some fresh air with their students and where kids can see the changes in the garden ecosystem.

A special thanks to all the families who came out for our summer harvest and clean up in August.

We weeded the garden, planted some beans, harvested corn, peppers and potatoes. And then we spent time cleaning up the grounds in preparation for fall!
