Lois P. Rockwell Elementary PTA
“Rocketing Our Students to Success”

Fundraising is a Necessary Evil, But We Give You Lots of Options

Fundraising is necessary so the PTA can support Rockwell in all the ways it hopes to. There are several ways you can support the PTA financially. The biggest fundraisers of the year the Walk a Thon in September and the Read a Thon in March.
We don't want to inundate you with product fundraisers, spirit nights and Thons. But we just want to give you options.
-
If your kid enjoys reading - the Read a thon in spring would be a great way to show them you love that they love reading.
-
If you have a fit and active kid - support them by pledging for the Walk a Thon in the fall.

-
Does your family like to eat out? Try the restaurant spirit days where we get up to 20% donated back from our Rockwell purchases.

-
Collect Boxtops which are worth 10 cents each!

-
Love to wear your Rockwell spirit wear? Get some for every day of the week! New designs coming soon from Camelsota.
-
Don't want to do any of it? You can just give a flat donation on your membership form and be done. Unfortunately I can't keep all the other information from coming home but you can look and make a choice and move on knowing you have already supported the PTA and your child's school.
Below are some of the ways you can support the PTA this year.
Coming in March 2019!
Periodically Various Restaurants will support us if you eat on a specific day. Keep updated here.
Box Tops for Education

Have you been collecting your Box Tops all summer?
Send in your box tops any time between now and October 1st . Each class has a special bin to collect them in and we will count them up to see who has the most to win a prize.
If you have more than one child you can:
1. pool them together if they don't care
2. keep separate baggies for each class and as a child finishes a cereal box, eats soup etc they get to keep that box top
3. divide them equally at the beginning of Oct when we send you a reminder before we count
Scholastic Book Fair - November 18th-22nd 2 019
Thank you to Jessica Grove and all the volunteers that ran the book fair last year for bringing in record sales!
We were able to purchase books for each classroom and the media center!
